German Boys’ Choir Concert

Celebration – Martyr’s Mirror
Lancaster Roots 300 Celebration continues June 7 with the Celebration of the Martyr’s Mirror and its importance to Lancaster’s First Settlers, 7pm at Christian Aid Ministries center in Ephrata. 2010 marks the 350th anniversary of publication of the Martyrs Mirror, influential Dutch book of Anabaptist martyr stories. September 25 – Field Trip: The 1710 Immigrant Route from Port to Paradise. As part of the Lancaster Roots 300 Celebration, a tour following immigrant routes to and from Philadelphia is being offered. The Tour begins and ends at the 1719 Hans Herr House with guided narration and stops at several 18th century sites; includes a walking tour and colonial lunch at historic tavern in “Old Town” Philadelphia. Many Voices Yet One Voice
April 25 – Many Voices Yet One Voice: Program of Music & Drama, 3pm at Theater of the Seventh Sister. Scenes will be performed from their Lancaster historical drama, “Seed of a Nation,” which incorporates stories of Native Americans, Mennonites, Quakers, African Americans and Scots Irish.
